Q: Where is the VA Hops and Barley Festival take place?

A: This year's event will take place at the Westchester Commons. (NEW LOCATION)

 

 

Q. What is the cost for a ticket to the event?

A: Tickets are $20 (May 1-12)

Tickets are $25 (May 13)

Non-Taster Tickets are just $10

Kids 12 and under get in free with a paid adult.

A: Yes. This year's ticket is $50 and includes-

Unlimited tastings, access to the VIP area,

private bathrooms, free lunch* served and snacks throughout the day.

*Lunch served from 3-6pm ONLY and is served as a meal ticket option.

A: It includes 5 tastings.

Additional tastes may be purchased at the event for $1 each.

A: If tickets are still available the day of the event they will be $25. Kids 12 and under get in free with a paid adult.

 

Q: Can I bring my own food or beverage to the event?

A: No, there will be food vendors on site selling great food, and beverages will be available for sale at the event.

 

Q: Will there be an ATM on-site?

A: Yes, and some vendors will accept credit/debit cards.

 

Q: Will food and non-alcoholic beverages be available for purchase?

A: Yes, there will be food vendors on site selling great food, and non –alcoholic beverages at the event.

 

Q: Can I purchase additional beer at the festival?

A: You are encouraged to purchase as much beer as you like, just remember to drink responsibly.

A: Anyone who buys a ticket.

A: Parking will be available on-site.

 

Q: Can I bring a folding/lawn chair?

A: Yes, but please don't bring umbrellas, tents, or coolers.

A: Wear rain gear or prepare to get wet, this is a rain or shine event.

 

Q: Can I leave the site and return?

A: Sorry, there will be no re-entry.

 

Q: What if I bought tickets and can't attend the festival?

A: Give or sell your tickets to someone who can come out and enjoy the festival.

 

Q: Do you accept credit cards or checks at the door?

A: Credit cards will be accepted, but cash is preferred. Sorry, NO Checks.

A: There will be will call for any on-line ticket purchases

 

Q: When will the last beer ticket be sold and when is last call?

A: Last Beer ticket will be sold at 6:30pm/Last Call is at 6:45pm

 

Q: Will any of the beer run out?

A: We hope so, that means everybody did their part. We cannot guarantee that all beer and/or wine selections will be available throughout the event. The more popular beers and wines may go quick, but we will do our best to have everything available.

 

Q: Can I bring my kids?

A: Absolutely, we are adding additional activities for the little ones. They just can't drink if they are under the age of 21.

 

Q: Can I bring my pet?

A: Sorry, No pets allowed.

 

Q: What if I don't drink? Is there a designated driver ticket?

A: Yes, there is a $10 designated driver ticket that lets you enjoy the festival and unlimited soft drinks.
